About me

My name is Lucija. I am 25 years old and I am studying early and preschool education on Faculty of humanities and social sciences in Split. During my education, I did internships in several kindergartens and gained rich experience in education of children. Besides that, I expanded my knowledge (and am still expanding) by attending trainings and lectures outside of the mandatory college education. Through an internships I got to know children of nursery and kindergarten age who come from different family structures, which includes children from single-parent families, children of divorced parents. I am also familiar with working with children with special needs-children with developmental difficulties and gifted children. I approach children individually. Following their needs and wishes, I design activities that will fulfill their needs and encourage integral development. I also encourage kids to spend time outside on the playground, walking and exploring nature. In addition, I am also interested in playing board games, listening to music, reading stories and I will be happy to help older children who go to school with their homework.
