Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Lara. I graduated from the Language Grammar School “Matija Mesić” in Slavonski Brod and I am currently a first-year student of English and Sociology at the University of Zadar.

Over the past few years, I have taken care of children of different ages and with various needs. I would particularly highlight my experience caring for twin girls in their pre-teen years who are on the autism spectrum. I supported their parents when they attended events, but also in everyday situations when their mother needed extra company for the girls or assistance during moments of overstimulation. In addition, I have cared for much younger children, including babies with different allergies and special needs (such as food and pollen allergies, visual impairment, and hearing impairment).

Working with children is always a fulfilling experience for me. I strive to approach them on their own level – as a friend and someone they can play with and feel safe around, rather than just as an observer. Safety is always my top priority, and I strictly follow all instructions given by parents.

I believe that my energy, patience, and experience make me a reliable and responsible person whom parents can trust with the care of their children.
